Harry. Broken, now New.

This whole week I’ve been working at my dads office in sf. It’s been great and just trying to have him rest a lot and since he caught the flu as well but ptl he’s a lot better!

So yesterday this client comes in w her dog Harry. I have NEVER ever in my life seen a dog so calm, chill, obedient, loving, and SHEDDING TEARS as this dog…and don’t get me wrong I love all kinds of dogs and usually not chihuahua’s until I met Harry. The owner was telling me how she picked Harry up last yr from an animal shelter coming from an abusive owner. As I was playing w the dog more taking photos and videos of him..rubbing his head and smiling towards him and just Loving on the dog…he started to shed tears. I was shocked and like what the!! Then the owner told me about his story. He came from an abusive owner who chopped off it’s tail, hit him hard non stop, scared, broken and just abused. She told me when he first got Harry he was like a wild child and had to discipline him but she said something that caught me…she said when she would approach Harry to discipline him(good way of course) Harry would move back while staring at you thinking as if he was going to get hit or abused.

It amazed me how Harry transformed into a dog who was wild, crazy, broken, abandoned, and abused to a dog who knows it’s owner love him regardless, calm, loving, and just full of joy. And then it hit me…God spoke to me…how many times are we abused from the enemy w lies and temptations, spirit apathy and laziness, hurt and pain!? And how many of you guys know we have a owner a creator who loves us regardless and takes the broken and turns it into something NEW!? how many of you guys know and understand that God takes the hurt and your pain and turns it all into JOY!? oh man I’m just starting haha..stay w me now..and maybe you just need to change your master. Who’s your master!? Who are you listening to??

As I was playing w Harry and calling by his name he started to shed tears rolling down his face and the owner told me that he is just happy and enjoys to be loved and since he is a new dog w a new heart. More confidence in itself and accepted by a owner who genuinely loves him.

God, You are the creator. You made us into Your imagine. As your word tells us in Isaiah 55 to come to You just as we are to thirst and long for You. If there’s anyone who’s reading this and feels lost, broken, abused and abandoned..Lord lead them to Your love in the name of Jesus right now at this moment. Daddy we want you as our Master. We want you to be the only owner and master in our lives. Nothing else. No one else. Just You and you alone. Renew, revive, and restore our hearts thats been filled w so much junk. You’re the loving father who clothes us w your white garments. Lord we need You more than our yesterday’s…more than our tomorrows…we need you NOW! so come lord and fill us. Make us new once again. Thank you daddy.
